About Us
The Civil Society Reference Group (CSRG) is a membership self-regulatory forum of Social Movements, National, International and Community-based non-governmental organizations, with a role to inform, unite and amplify the voice of Kenyan society established in accordance with the Public Benefit Organizations Act 2013. It is governed by an Oversight Committee elected by members drawn from all over the country. The membership is made up of Associate, Interim and Full members.

Our Core
Our core business is to catalyze membership and citizens based public policy advocacy, organizational strengthening and leadership development. It is our view that we complement the primary duty of the County and National Governments by facilitating public oversight and the delivery of essential public services. In doing this, we will contribute with other PBO networks and the envisaged PBO Authority and Federation to build a sector that is competent and effective.
